After looking around for a long time we had given up on building a home of our own. As a family of five we had certain demands that required a sizable house on a good sized site with an open plan aspect. Established mainstream building companies seemed to want nothing more than to lure you in and once hooked hike up the price. It would be fair to say we were disillusioned with the whole industry before we met the people at Madden Construction.

As always the best advice comes from word of mouth and through other contacts we were introduced to Dave Madden and his company. The genuine care and compassion was obvious from day one. Talking on my level and discussing things in a practical upbeat way resolved all our issues. The stress lifted and we trusted in Dave and the building process from here on in.

This company's point of difference was quite simply the ability to relate to its customers. The end result speaks for itself and we are very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the job.

The question you ask yourself is "would I work with this company again"? I would have to say I definitely would and I don't say this lightly. In fact I offer my home in Arataki Road Havelock North to anyone who is contemplating building with Madden Construction to come and see for themselves.
